Advent Worship Services & Devotions begin | Dec. 1
Each Sunday in December at our 8:45 AM and 11:00 AM worship services there will be a special reading and lighting of the advent wreath. Our sermon series, A Heidelberg Christmas, answers questions about the significance of Jesus' coming. For advent devotions, we are reading and reflecting on the Gospel of Luke, one chapter a day. Celebrate While We Wait- 12 PM | Dec. 7 - 10 AM
Get ready for a festive morning filled with fun, crafts, and celebration!
We're inviting all our church family to our annual Celebrate While We Wait event on Saturday, December 7th from 10 AM to noon. Join us as we create beautiful Christmas ornaments and engage in other exciting Advent activities together. It's a wonderful opportunity for our children to experience the joy and wonder of waiting for the birth of our Savior.

92nd Annual Candlelight Musical Service | Dec. 8 - 6:30 PM
This time-honored tradition celebrates the beauty of the arts at First & Calvary through an intimate worship service that features a variety of musical styles present by the musicians and friends of First & Calvary. It is an hour of candlelight, music, worship, and scripture reflections. The musical gifts have grown beyond the choral tradition, but the heart of this service remains the same as it has been for almost a century. Come and be a part of this warm, reflective evening.
Youth Christmas Party | Dec. 18 - 6:00 PM
Get ready for the final Encounter Youth Night of the year for 6th-12th graders December 18th 6-8pm! We'll have dinner, worship, a powerful message, and fun games. But wait, there's more! We've heard rumors of a white elephant exchange a, karaoke battle, and an ugly Christmas sweater contest with a gift card prize. Don't miss out on this epic night! Christmas Eve Service | Dec. 24 - 4 PM
The 4:00 PM Service will feature fun interactive elements for children, beloved Christmas carols with string quartet, communion, and Silent Night sung by candlelight. You are welcome to bring canned goods to donate to Well of Life, our local food pantry.
