Unleash your inner artist at First & Calvary's Children's Ministry Art Night! 🎨 This fun night for ages 5-12 (and the whole family!) is packed with creativity. 🤩 We'll provide all the supplies - just bring your enthusiasm! Space is limited, so register today. If there is interest in childcare for children younger than 5 indicated through this form, we will reserve that.
Our next Pastor's Book Club reading is Peter Scazzero's Emotional Healthy Discipleship. We will meet Wednesday, March 26th in the library at 6pm. We will gather and discuss what it means to be deeply transformed as apprentices of God.

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, which is a general time of penitence and renewal for God's people. The aim of Ash Wednesday is threefold: to meditate on our mortality, sinfulness, and need of a savior; to renew our commitment to daily repentance in the Lenten season and in all of life; and to remember with confidence and gratitude that Christ has conquered death and sin. The imposition of ashes is a central part of this worship service.

One Another Groups are back! These short-term groups provide a place to get to know people who are part of our church and encourage one another in our faith. Groups meet for a potluck meal and informal time of encouragement and conversation reflecting on our sermon series. Groups will begin meeting the 2nd week in February one time each week for three consecutive weeks. Signup deadline has now passed. This women's study facilitated by Sarah Orlandos explores Revelation taking a Bible literacy approach to the book using simple tools to help us attempt to hear the book the way its original audience heard it. This is a video series with a book by Jen Wilkin that can be purchased through Amazon or wherever books are sold. This ten-week series begins Thursday, Jan. 30th 6-8pm. We will take a break during Lent. Childcare is available upon request (email Allyssa at a.clayton@firstandcalvary.org) at least a week in advance.
