You and your family are invited to join F&C Church Members to serve from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Council of Church's/Crosslines' Dec 21st Christmas Distribution, hosted at the Fairgrounds E-Plex. This is a family-friendly event, full of energy and impact. The day begins with group training and orientation and usually concludes with a free lunch. Last year over 35 F&C friends volunteered to help many families in need receive new Christmas toys.

This rich tradition has been with the Council of Churches since the founding of Crosslines Food Pantry, where First & Calvary ushered in great support, with F&C church members helping shape the process and structure for the very first Christmas distributions. Now, families who come for gifts go through a qualifying process for participation, and volunteers who serve them get to walk with them as they select toys. Then volunteers walk with the family, toys in hand, to their cars to wish a final "Merry Christmas." This experience is an amazing way to get to know the people being served and celebrate Advent and God's love by being Jesus' Christmas hands and feet. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Missions Committee Chair, Philip Herzog at philipeherzog@gmail.com.

ENCOUNTER NIGHT'S (1).png

Get ready for the final Encounter Youth Night of the year for 6th-12th graders December 18th 6-8pm! We'll have dinner, worship, a powerful message, and fun games. But wait, there's more! We've heard rumors of a white elephant exchange a, karaoke battle, and an ugly Christmas sweater contest with a gift card prize. Don't miss out on this epic night! Contact Trevor Clayton to RSVP at t.clayton@firstandcalvary.org.

Looking for some reading over the holidays? Get a copy of Russ Ramsey's Rembrandt is in the Wind: Learning to Love Art through the Eyes of Faith and mark your calendar for January 22nd at 6:00PM. Pastor Don will be gathering together with anyone who has read this great book up in the library for a life-giving, thought-provoking conversation. You don't have to know anything about art to get a lot out of Ramsey's book.
