Looking for some reading over the holidays? Get a copy of Russ Ramsey's Rembrandt is in the Wind: Learning to Love Art through the Eyes of Faith and mark your calendar for January 22nd at 6:00PM. Pastor Don will be gathering together with anyone who has read this great book up in the library for a life-giving, thought-provoking conversation. You don't have to know anything about art to get a lot out of Ramsey's book. Everyone is welcomed to come!

We're excited to announce that Children's Musical rehearsal has begun and it's not too late to join in the fun!

If your child plans to perform in "DiscipleSHIP  Adventure", please complete
this form. (1 form per child). Note that children participating should be age 4 or older and be able to perform with focus for a 30-minute musical presentation. Practices are Sundays in the Choir room at 9:30 am for the whole cast and 9:00am for those cast members who are scheduled.

The performance Date is Sunday morning, March 9. Performance time info coming soon. Please contact our Children's Musical director, Allyssa Clayton at  a.clayton@firstandcalvary.org for more info.

Steep in an unhurried time of music and prayer led by our contemporary scholars on Thursday, January 23 at 7 p.m.

This women's study facilitated by Sarah Orlandos explores Revelation taking a Bible literacy approach to the book using simple tools to help us attempt to hear the book the way its original audience heard it. This is a video series with a book by Jen Wilkin that can be purchased through Amazon or wherever books are sold. This ten-week series begins Thursday, Jan. 30th 6-8pm. Our Musical Offerings Concert Series continues with pianist, Clara Christian. Dr. Clara Christian is an Associate Professor of Music at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, MO. She has performed throughout the U.S, in France, and in St. Petersburg, Russia and is active as both a soloist and as a collaborative artist. All of our concerts are free of charge, but donations are welcome to support the series. Learn more about the series here.

One Another Groups are back! These short-term groups provide a place to get to know people who are part of our church and encourage one another in our faith. Groups meet for a potluck meal and informal time of encouragement and conversation reflecting on our sermon series. Groups will begin meeting the week of Feb. one time each week for three consecutive weeks. See dates listed in the choices below. Contact j.swope@firstandcalvary.org if you have any questions.
