Make Art
This is not just for professionals.
This is not just for amateurs.
This is not just for “artists.”
We are inviting everyone at First & Calvary to make and share art that engages with and is inspired by the life of the church. You can see scriptures we will be spending time in for each sermon series.
God uses the acts of making and sharing art to nourish our souls, grow us as disciples, and connect us with others. Feeling down? Make art to vent your frustration, ask God to help you, or relate to people who are struggling with the same things you are. Feeling happy? Make art to give thanks to God, inspire awe in others, or give others hope. Feeling stuck? Make art to explore a new skill, set a new goal, or practice your craft.
In addition to the inward purpose of making art as a form of discipleship, we would be honored to help you find outward purposes for your art in the life of the church as well: in a publication, worship, or another form of showcase. Just share what you’re making and we’ll help it find a home.
